A TIME MANAGEMENT NECESSITY
An Essential Pre-Paris-Trip Book

Excellent and Practical
Law made interesting!C
thorough and refreshing to know that justice does serve ...

Excellent on-ramp for VB devs to move to .NET
Web Services for VB Folks--it's about time! The book doesn't spend too much time on the protocols-- instead it explains how to use them from VB. If you need to understand the SOAP and WSDL real deeply, get a different book like Seely's SOAP book from PH-PTR. This book is about writing Web services, nothing more or less. The chapter on SOAP, WSDL, and UDDI is nothing other than an overview. Hey, you've been warned.
Great coverage for VB.NET devs

Excellent reading for the latest web strategies
Security Made Easy
Learn What Technology Can Really Do

A must read for any serious business person.Technology can pave the way to a future you may not have envisioned yet. Hold on to your hats - it's going to be an exciting ride! This book will help you be a part of the POSITIVE side of the inevitable.
An incredible journey!Drawing on the metaphor of Australian nomad culture, the Tarlows weave a web ranging from the implications of intellectual property practices on ALL businesses to the value of co-designing experience and storytelling over passive media. The final chapters on idea communities, social genius, trust and tribalmind are both mind-blowing and hopeful.
Perhaps what I enjoy the most about this book is the tension between future vision and present practicality. In many ways, Digital Aboriginal suggests a way to navigate the future using imagination, ethics and a heightened sense of participation in the world.
I cannot recommend this work highly enough!

E-Business, A Starting Point

Clear and straighforwardThe author uses simple and clear language in explaining the issues that really matter to DBAs....both technical and non-technical aspects of the e-Business environment are covered in this book.
Thank you Meghraj for the wonderful explanation and clearing the myths.
e-Business issues pertaining to DBAs - Finally !!I especially liked the chapters on availability and security. Each page in those chapters contains very good stuff. In my company, high availability and security is a must and the techniques shown in the book are a lifesaver. e.g. encryption techniques, implementing redundancy, security loop holes and so on.
